House of Matriarch is based in the USA. Worldwide shipping is offered as a courtesy to international customers. Available shipping options for your region will be offered at check-out. Be sure to provide a secure address - missing shipments that have been marked as delivered by the carrier cannot be re-shipped due to post-delivery theft.
Door to door tracking information cannot be provided for orders shipped to regions of the world where those services are unavailable. As such, these packages cannot be re-shipped if they are lost, stolen or seized while in transit. Transit times to certain regions (especially South Africa, Algeria, China, UAE and Israel) can exceed three months so use your best judgement when ordering from outside the USA and be patient - shipments always arrive eventually.
If your international shipment is returned or rejected by your country, and arrives back to us UNOPENED, we are happy to refund or reship your order - minus shipping costs.
**Learn and adhere to your local regulations regarding international shipments. Make sure US shipments are allowed by your country prior to ordering - we cannot refund shipping fees if your country refuses to accept the shipment.** We cannot guarantee that your package will make it through customs, or that you will not be assessed taxes or import fees by your country.
Shipments are declared as "bath oil" or "incense" on customs forms to reduce theft of the valuable contents. If you request a reduced value on your customs form, we cannot purchase adequate insurance to cover your shipment against breakage. As such, reduced value shipments cannot be re-shipped if they go missing or arrive damaged
Fragrances should be kept cool at all times. Perfume expands in response to heat, and can cause leakage. If you live in a hot climate, be sure you are shipping your perfumes to an address where they will be kept cool once they are delivered - not to an outdoor mailbox where they could easily become overheated. If the weather is hot enough to melt chocolate, then it's hot enough to ruin perfume so use that as your gauge when choosing where to have your package delivered.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Fragrances are considered personal care items, so we are unable to process returns once an item has been shipped. Consider ordering samples if you are unsure which fragrances you will enjoy.
We will gladly replace any item that arrives defective or damaged, for the exact same item, as long as we are notified of the defect or damage within 24 hours of your recorded delivery. If you need to initiate an exchange, please send an email with a photo of the damage atop your packing slip to email@example.com for a return authorization.
