"This is a gorgeous oriental orange blossom perfume, completely unique in my experience. I've tried dark, syrupy, and heavy orange blossoms, airy, soapy, and clean orange blossoms, and a wide range of candied orange blossom perfumes, but oM is the first truly oriental orange blossom perfume, with more incense and wood than any of the usual accompanying note suspects. I, too, have visited southern Spain, and it's true: the scent of Spanish cathedrals and the naranjeros of Sevilla have been ably captured and harmonized in oM. What a lovely composition!" – Sherapop (Reviewer on Fragrantica)
A new small batch of oM was bottled last week. Order yours now!

House of Matriarch returns to the red carpet, in association with The Artisan Group, for the invitation-only luxury celebrity gift lounge hosted by GBK Productions on April 10-11, 2015 at an exclusive location in Hollywood, California in honor of the upcoming 2015 MTV Movie Awards.
Matriarch's 100% natural Super Natural Collection Giftset will be prominently featured at the event and all attending celebrities will be gifted the most popular artisan fragrances Bohemian Black, Coco Blanc, and Forbidden. This event will also be attended by nearly fifty press and media outlets who will also receive the perfumes. Fragrance does not usually make the cut at these events, and this is a first for natural fragrances, so this is a huge honor for the Seattle-based fragrance house, established by Christi Meshell in 2008.
More about House of Matriarch:
We believe in the power of fragrance to connect us to the past, harness our being to the present and help us to write the future. House of Matriarch is a high perfumery rooted in the rich history of magic and alchemy speaks that language – one that is luxuriously mysterious, powerfully rendered and recalling the craft of the apothecary.
Our language speaks to the past but carries our community into the future, to the pinnacle of the highest art of perfume-making. Hearkening back to the mysteries of thousands of years of science, discovery and artful application, and gathering that legacy to a renewed modernist appraisal of the futurist art of high perfumery. Matriarch is as richly layered as our expression in the magical alchemy of the marvelously detailed fragrances that we create.
Our Perfumer, Christi Meshell, is “the Nose” behind some of the most compelling fragrances now enlivening the niche fragrance scene. Her visionary versatility, as both Creative Director and Fragrance Composer, allows her to single-handedly develop a concept from initial inspiration through final display. A mystical heritage since her childhood has evoked Christi’s lifelong study of natural correspondences, sacred cosmology and plant medicine, a knowledge which finds practical application in the Matriarch fragrance creation and the storytelling of their innovative journey.

“Beauty Will Save The World” Christi Meshell, Perfumer House of Matriarch, New Perfume Bohemian Black ~ Review by Monica Miller
Bohemian Black is an incredibly impressive perfume. Showcasing Christi Meshell’s perfume Art Bohemian Black Sparkles and shines like a Black Opal surrounded by black velvet and rose gold. The ravishing floral bouquet is set in a creamy woods and amber base giving the dry down of this perfume a silk satin decadence.
Simply put Bohemian Black is a Masterpiece. I would easily and quickly recommend women (and men) of quality (and you know who you are) to try a sample or mini spray of Bohemian Black even if you have never found an all natural perfume that blew you away. I can see this perfume becoming the signature scent of sophisticated alternative lifestyle enthusiasts, those who enjoy the beauty of nature in all her forms.
That being said I do not believe that this perfume will be limited to people who only wear natural. Tonality wise Bohemian Black reminds me of classic fine oriental type perfumes. Very seductive. And why not a studded leather bracelet scented with Bohemian Black? They are available from House of Matriarch.

Finding it difficult to buy for him this Christmas and worried that you haven’t got much time left? Whether it’s time the man in your life upgraded his luggage with something more stylish or if you think he would simply love to have a pop-up bar for a night with friends, regardless of the setting, then these ideas and more can be found below.
BLACKBIRD perfume from House of Matriarch
BLACKBIRD from House of Matriarch was named ‘Top Scent for 2013′ by Men’s Journal Magazine, “Best of the West” by Sunset Magazine and ‘Sexiest Scent’ at the International Artisan Fragrance Awards. Created to honor the mysterious essence of Seattle style makers and artists, this worldly and penetrating perfume contains hundreds of exotic and rare aromas. NW conifers, Puget Sound seaweed, black leather, rare oud and cannabis: favorite notes of the Seattle avant garde. Genuine animal fixatives add depth and sex appeal.
Offered at 33% concentration, the extrait is such a dark green, it’s nearly black. 93% natural raw materials, 7% aroma molecules in a base of organic grape ethanol. Unforgettable.
