Matriarch Perfumes are specifically designed to restore our connection with the ultimate Matriarch, Mother Earth. In pre-patriarchal times, clan mothers were usually the herbalist/healers, as healing was a simple extension of their nurturing and mothering instincts. They used plants, oils, teas, tinctures and concoctions to heal themselves and their families. They passed this knowledge freely, and their art eventually evolved into the modern science of pharmacology.
As times have changed, medicine and the matriarch have become separated. We are trying to graft that relationship with our perfumes. Current statistics show the highest rate of healing from disease is found among patients who seek NATURAL healing as their FIRST method of treatment. We at Matriarch believe that this is very important evidence, so we have made it our purpose to connect our clients to that healing energy with everything we create.
